5 tips for maintaining healthy hair in the summer

Summer is here and so is the need to take care of your hair. The sun cannot really burn hair, but sun exposure will damage your hair’s natural protective film. Humidity affects the hydrogen bonds in the hair and to a lesser extent, the salt bonds. In order to take care of your tresses in summer you should follow certain tips to prevent it from drying which also leads to hair fall. Here are some hair care tips that you can try out to guard your hair form the scorching sun. Let’s see what they are.

Buy a heat-and-UV protectant.

It provides your hair a barrier to protect it from the sun and heat…and if you’re at the beach or at the pool, use this every time you get out of the water.

Use professional shampoo and conditioner.

Have a professional shampoo and conditioner that’s what you’re going to need, especially in the summer.

First of all, make sure that your shampoo has no sulfate in it, it has to be 100% sulfate free and this is because the sulfate does tend to make the hair extensions fall out a lot of quicker and a lot easier. Also, go for the more natural and organic shampoos and conditioners because they’re gentler to hair extensions. Choosing a healthy and smooth hair extension will help you to care for them more easily and effectively. Vietnamese hair is a smart choice for girls who use hair extensions.

Don’t shampoo every day.

There are plenty of reasons not to shampoo your hair every day.  The biggest thing I tell people is  your hair’s natural oils will make your hair healthier and shinier than most products.

Treat your hair to a weekly mask.

Hair masks are trending.  It’ll make a huge difference because the more your hair is out in the sun, the more porous it gets. … A mask helps put that protein back in the hair and keep it from tangling and getting frizzy

Try using a wet brush.

If you brush your hair a lot when it’s dry, it breaks easier because it doesn’t stretch as much as it does when it’s wet. These brushes are made specifically for detangling hair when it’s wet.
